The University of Brighton is a community of over 21,000 students and 2,600 staff based on five campuses in Brighton, Eastbourne and Hastings. We have one of the best teaching quality ratings in the UK and a strong research record, factors which contribute to our reputation as a leading post-1992 university.

The Careers Service is here to support you from your first day at the University of Brighton. We can help you find a career path, develop the skills you will need to follow it, and get a job when you finish your degree or diploma.

Our performance in a range of external assessments of teaching quality is consistently strong. The School of Education has just moved into the new £30m Checkland building at Falmer, and maintained its position as one of the leading institutions in the country for Initial Teacher Training, according to results published last month by Ofsted. The School of Education and the Chelsea School of Sport remain ‘Category A’ providers for teacher education, and have been given the highest possible rating – outstanding – for all aspects of our primary and secondary initial teacher education provision.

Since 1992 we have made considerable improvements to the environment in which our students live and work, with almost £100 of million capital investment and new libraries on three of our four campuses.
