The University of Aberdeen offers over 600 first degree programmes, often in subjects not available at school or college. This wide variety, and our flexible student-centered approach, offers you lots of advantages, especially if you have not quite made up your mind!

The University of Aberdeen operates an ‘open door’ visiting policy throughout the year. All prospective students, interested parents, teachers and careers staff are welcome to visit the University by making an appointment with the Student Recruitment & Admissions Service. We usually require two weeks notice so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

A typical visit usually begins with a short presentation about the University, then a tour of the campus with one of our current students, followed by a visit to the department(s) of interest. The tour includes our halls of residence, sports facilities, library and many more of the resources that the University has to offer. This gives visitors the opportunity to get a real feel for the campus, as well as find out more about life at the University from both students and academics.

For more information, or to book a visit, please contact the appropriate visit secretary depending on your chosen area of study;
