The first university league tables were published nearly 20 years ago and have continued to be the subject of vigorous debate among academics ever since. The raw data for the League Tables come from sources in the public domain and our methodology is arguably the most independent and robust in use today. Who’s in the Top Ten for their Subjects lists the universities ranking first in our 62 Subject League Tables.
